Due to changes on January 1, 2025, Mexico’s Tax Administration System (SAT) updated its General Rules of Foreign Trade, impacting all imports to Mexico. This includes the requirement for a consignee’s Tax ID [Registro Federal de Contribuyentes (RFC)] for all shipments.
